The story we are telling in this series is based on the most contemporary and cutting- edge interpretations of paranormal phenomena, illuminated by the most credible and visionary voices in this world. But in treating these events and ideas, we also seek to elevate them with gripping, edge-of-your-seat genre filmmaking, bringing a premium approach to this material, often for the first time.
All of our interviews and verite footage is shot in a widescreen format with anamorphic lenses, utilizing highly dramatic and dynamic lighting that locates our characters in the cinematic terrain of the paranoid thriller. At the same time, extensive use of archival material creates the feeling of an ongoing firsthand encounter with the phenomena we’re describing. Our archival research is already underway, with a wealth of material sourced from UFO sightings, media coverage of Satanic Panic murder trials, and descriptions of terrifying abductions.
In addition to these elements, we will be employing cinematic techniques and visual effects to visualize and imagine the shocking events being described, pushing the series further into genre territory, including horror and science fiction — except all of the stories being dramatized will be sourced from the genuine testimony of trustworthy sources who can speak to its authenticity.
